There’s just something about homemade guacamole that hits different. It’s quick, fresh, and always a crowd favorite in my house—especially with my boys! I started making this recipe when I was craving something flavorful but simple, and it’s been a go-to ever since.
Whether I’m throwing together taco night or just need a snack while working on content, this guac is that girl. Creamy, zesty, and with just the right amount of bite—it never lasts long around here. I usually have to hide a little bowl for myself before the boys eat it all with chips!
Let’s get into it…
My Go-To Guacamole
This guac is always a hit—creamy, zesty, and packed with fresh flavor. Whether you’re whipping it up for Taco Tuesday, a party, or just a snack with chips, this one never misses!
Ingredients:
3 ripe avocados
1 small red onion, finely diced
1 Roma tomato, diced
1–2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small jalapeño, seeds removed & finely chopped (optional for a kick)
Juice of 1 lime
A handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Pinch of cumin (optional but adds depth)
Instructions:
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a bowl.
Mash them to your desired consistency—chunky or smooth, your call.
Add in the red onion, tomato, garlic, jalapeño, and cilantro.
Squeeze in the lime juice, then season with salt, pepper, and a tiny pinch of cumin if you like.
Mix everything gently until well combined.
Taste and adjust salt or lime as needed. Serve immediately with chips or as a topping on your favorite dish!
